Ending the female orgasm gap

Gender equality has been at the forefront of the media and public conversation for a long time. Some areas in this space have seen strides, but the subject of female sexual pleasure and wellness has been deprioritised in sex education, in health research and society as a whole.

Female masturbation should be empowering and fun, not embarrassing and shameful. Just like physical and mental health, sexual health should be just as important. We’re fighting to shift the mindset away from the pornographic and highly sanitised idea of sex most of us have grown up with. In its place, is a bare-all approach that looks at sex through a normalised, lighthearted lens. One that encourages us to explore our bodies in an uninhibited way.

"As a young woman you don’t learn how to pleasure yourself, you don’t learn what an orgasm should be, you don’t learn that you should have feelings of satisfaction"
- Shailene Woodley
